I first drew this card for some of the very special women I wanted to thank for being part of my wedding. It now lives in a new iteration (scratch out, thank you for being the best bridesmaid) as a thank you card that you can send a loved one.
A few years ago I visited the old studio and shop of Mable & Co in Suffolk. I was so blown away by the quality of their prints and the beautiful craftsmanship in the products they sold that I thought one day I’d love to make something with them and this seemed suitably special. Each card (and label) has been hand printed on their 1890 treadle letter press and then hand finished with silver paint by me.
